In-World Event

Above is an ISTE-sponsored in-world event about student-produced podcasts. If you would like to produce your own audio or video, I will host it on my server so that you can use it in your lesson in SL.
During the course . . .

Students should attend and report on at least one in-world learning event in Second Life. The event can be synchronous or asynchronous. The report should contain a description of the event (who, what, when, where, how) and an analysis of its value and effectiveness to you as a virtual world educator.

A complete list of synchronous events is maintained on the .

Asynchronous events include any recordings of live conferences or workshops held in Second Life. These recordings are available in Second Life and on sites such as YouTube.

The ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) maintains an archive of its recorded events on Treet.tv (http://archive.treet.tv/programs/iste-eduverse-talks).
