Choosing Your Presentation Avatar Another way to increase the effectiveness of your presentation is to add a "spokesperson" on the screen that the viewer can interact with. These automated conversation agents or "chatbots" are increasingly visible today because of studies that have shown their effectiveness in increasing viewer interest, trust, and attention.  One of the plans for the Pathways to Three R's web site is to add animated avatars (spokespersons) to some multimedia presentations found there. Please go to the Media Semantics web site and choose an avatar that you feel is appropriate for your presentation. You may simply post the name of your choice in the group area. Character Builder from Media Semantics is the software I use, so I have access to the avatars there and can add them to your presentation, if selected for Professor Fu's site. David
